Job Title: System Engineer - Full TimeLocation: Detroit, MI -
Nashville, TN - Cleveland, OH or Dallas, TX.About the Position: We
are looking for a passionate IT System Engineer to add to our team.
Our ideal candidate is excited about architecting and implementing
enterprise solutions in a fast-paced environment.As a System
Engineer with a focus on Microsoft technology using C# and Python,
you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and
maintaining IT systems and infrastructure. Your role will involve
working closely with other IT professionals to ensure the efficient
operation, scalability, and security of the organization's IT
environment.What Youll Be Doing:Designing and deploying IT systems
and infrastructure based on Microsoft technologies, including
Windows Server, SharePoint, SQL Server and Azure
services.Configuring and managing virtualized environments using
Hyper-V or VMware, including virtual machines, clusters, and
virtual networking.Implementing and maintaining network
infrastructure, including LAN/WAN connectivity, routers, switches,
firewalls, and VPN solutionsDeveloping automation scripts and tools
using Python to streamline system administration tasks, automate
routine processes, and integrate disparate systems within the IT
environment.Monitoring system performance, troubleshooting issues,
and optimizing system configurations to ensure high availability,
reliability, and performance.Implementing and managing backup and
disaster recovery solutions to safeguard critical data and minimize
downtime in the event of system failures or disasters.Collaborating
with software developers and application owners to deploy and
maintain custom applications and solutions within the Microsoft
ecosystem.Ensuring compliance with security policies, standards,
and best practices, and implementing security measures to protect
against cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities.Providing
technical support and assistance to end-users, including resolving
technical issues, answering queries, and conducting user training
as needed.Keeping abreast of the latest developments and updates in
Microsoft technologies, Python programming language, and IT
industry trends, and evaluating their potential impact on the
organization's IT infrastructure.Preferred Qualifications:Minimum
of 3-5 years of experience in system engineering or related roles
in the field.High school diploma or equivalent practical
experience.Professional credibility, including responsiveness, team
focus, and a commitment to working in a safe environment.Physical
capability to access all areas of the facility, withstand
activities like walking, and standing.Strong attention to detail
and a willingness to learn.Other duties as assigned.Physical
RequirementsShould be able to work in environments with variable
noise levels, lighting conditions, and temperature variation and
able to access all areas of the building without limitations.Pay
