Job Summary : We're seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team, specializing in medium voltage electrical systems, panel design, automation, and integration. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing and implementing control system hardware using Allen-Bradley controls. Experience in chemical plant or industrial gas operations is a plus, but not required. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and implement medium voltage electrical systems, including panel design and layout Develop and implement automation and control systems using Allen-Bradley PLCs, HMI, and SCADA systems Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical and automation systems Conduct site visits and surveys to assess existing electrical infrastructure and identify opportunities for improvement Develop and maintain electrical design documentation, including schematics, one-line diagrams, equipment load estimation, and panel layouts Troubleshoot and resolve electrical system issues, including fault analysis and repair Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, including NFPA, NEMA, NEC, and IEEE Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to specify/procure electrical equipment and materials Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field 5 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on medium voltage systems and automation 3 years of experience with Allen-Bradley controls, including PLCs, HMI, and SCADA systems, medium voltage circuit design 3 years of experience with panel design and layout, including electrical schematics and one-line diagrams 3 years of experience with AutoCAD, ProfiCAD, or equivalent design software Working knowledge of applicable electrical codes and standards, including NFPA, NEC, NEMA, IEEE Must be within 1 hour commute from Oviedo, Florida site. Additional Skills Preferred but not required: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders Chemical plant experience preferred, but not required Ability to interpret P&IDs and process flow diagrams Experience with other automation platforms, such as Siemens or GE Knowledge of process control systems and instrumentation Experience with project management and team leadership Physical Requirements: This position requires using hands to troubleshoot equipment, close vision and dexterity with fingers This position requires an individual to sit, stand, and move about the facility Ability to lift 40lbs 374Water is an equal-opportunity employer.
