Job Description:

Clean Harbors is actively seeking a skilled Mobile Vehicle Mechanic to join our dynamic field services team, offering a range of environmental, energy, and industrial services throughout North America. In this role, the mechanic will focus on providing onsite vehicle maintenance and repair services, ensuring operational excellence and safety of various automotive fleets. This position plays a critical role in sustaining our commitment to environmental protection and efficiency. Perform routine vehicle maintenance and emergency repairs Conduct inspections and diagnostics to identify issues and determine necessary repairs Maintain detailed records of services rendered and parts utilized Manage inventory of tools and supplies, restocking as necessary Travel to various job sites to deliver on-site repair services Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines set forth by Clean Harbors and regulatory bodies Communicate effectively with clients to provide service updates and gather feedback Contribute to the sustainability initiatives of the company by ensuring environmentally conscious repair practices Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment and modern automotive tools Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills Excellent customer service skills Ability to work independently and manage travel schedules Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain service records Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k ASE Certification (Automotive Service Excellence) Valid driver's license and clean driving record Additional certifications related to hazardous materials handling or environmental safety are a plus
