Summary A leading acute care hospital in Kissimmee, Florida is
seeking an experienced Nurse Manager to lead its ICU Trauma Neuro
unit. This permanent leadership role is responsible for overseeing
daily clinical operations, ensuring high-quality patient care, and
supporting staff development in a fast-paced critical care
environment. Responsibilities Provide clinical and operational
leadership for the ICU Trauma Neuro unit Oversee staffing,
scheduling, and resource utilization to ensure safe patient care
Promote evidence-based nursing practices and high standards of
clinical excellence Lead, mentor, and evaluate nursing staff;
support ongoing education and professional growth Collaborate with
physicians, interdisciplinary teams, and hospital leadership
Monitor quality indicators, patient outcomes, and compliance with
regulatory standards Ensure adherence to hospital policies,
procedures, and patient safety initiatives Participate in
budgeting, performance improvement, and strategic planning
activities Required Qualifications Minimum 1 year of recent (within
the last year) leadership experience in an acute care ICU setting
(ICU, MICU, SICU, CVICU experience required) Strong clinical
background in critical care nursing Proven leadership,
communication, and team-building skills Education & Licensure
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida or
compact state BSN required (MSN preferred) Current BLS and ACLS
