This role requires expertise in operating MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images, supporting the hospital’s mission of delivering superior patient care. As a PRN staff member, flexibility and adaptability to meet staffing needs is crucial. Operate MRI equipment to create diagnostic images according to physician specifications. Ensure patient safety and comfort during scans, explaining procedures to alleviate anxiety. Assess the quality of images and redo scans as necessary for optimal results. Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to confidentiality guidelines. Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care. Implement safety protocols to minimize exposure to magnetic fields and contrast agents. Provide flexible support to imaging department needs, covering varied shifts including evenings and weekends as required. Proficient in MRI imaging protocols Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills High level of professionalism and ethics Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Current state licensure as required
