Orlando Health Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women & Babies seeks an MFM-trained fetal surgeon to practice 100% fetal medicine in a new fetal care center with multidisciplinary support and one of the nation's largest and most successful neonatal intensive care units. Opportunity Highlights Practice in a new fetal care center equipped with six ultrasound exam rooms, two fetal non-stress test bays, and conferencing space with connectivity to the hospitals operating rooms Join two other MFM-trained fetal surgeons and a pediatric neurosurgeon Perform full-scope fetal intervention, from ultrasound guided percutaneous (needle-based) procedures to fetoscopic and open fetal surgery Practice 100% fetal medicine supported by 14 general maternal-fetal medicine physicians Practice in a hospital delivering 12,000–15,000 babies every year Work with a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit that is the fourth largest in the United States Collaborate within a multidisciplinary care team dedicated to fetal conditions Care for high-risk pregnancies complicated by fetal anomalies in patients who are referred from across the United States Work with multidisciplinary colleagues across Maternal-Fetal Medicine and Pediatric subspecialties including surgery, cardiology, nephrology, orthopedic surgery, neurosurgery, urology, craniofacial surgery, neonatology, palliative care, and clinical genetics Community Information Orlando, FL, is known as the City Beautiful.
