Job Description:
Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and dedicated
Pediatric Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide skilled nursing
care to pediatric patients in the comfort of their homes. The ideal
candidate will be adept in managing the physical, mental, and
emotional needs of children, from infants to adolescents, under
various health conditions. By joining our team, you will play a
critical role in enhancing the lives of children and their families
by delivering personalized, high-quality care and therapy services,
as prescribed by medical professionals, to help them attain their
optimum health. Administer medications, conduct prescribed
treatments, and monitor overall health condition of pediatric
patients. Document and report any changes in the child's condition
to relevant healthcare professionals. Educate and support patients'
families on proper pediatric care practices. Ensure the patient
environment is safe and conducive to recovery and growth.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create and implement
personalized care plans. Strong pediatric and home health care
skills Ability to operate medical equipment Excellent communication
and interpersonal skills Knowledge of child health safety standards
and procedures Capability to handle emotionally charged situations
401k Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license CPR certification
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification is
preferred
