Job Description:
As a Senior Software Engineer at Lockheed Martin, you will be
instrumental in the research, design, and development of
next-generation technologies for our military, aerospace, and
defense programs. This role focuses on creating and improving
software systems that are crucial for the safety and functionality
of cutting-edge aerospace applications. Working within our
inclusive and ethically driven team environment, you will lead
projects and guide junior engineers, ensuring that all software
meets rigorous standards and advances our strategic goals. Design,
develop, and implement complex software systems that meet
mission-critical standards. Lead cross-functional teams through the
software development lifecycle. Provide mentorship and technical
guidance to junior engineers. Ensure compliance with project
specifications and industry safety standards. Collaborate with
other departments to integrate software with hardware systems. Stay
updated on emerging technologies and potential system enhancements.
Conduct rigorous testing and validation of all software solutions
to ensure robustness. Advanced knowledge in C++, Java, or Python
Experience with embedded systems and real-time operating systems
(RTOS) Familiarity with software lifecycle management tools like
Git, JIRA, and Jenkins Strong analytical and problem-solving
